colorful kicks

Good morning.
With everything that is going on right now, I'm hoping to spread some love,
some random acts of kindness, and some gratitude!
The challenge this week @ Inspired By is an awesome inspiration photo
to jumpstart the process!

Thanks card

For this card, I was inspired by:
the colors

On my next card, I decided to let the cute image
(Stampendous Changito Knee Hugger) be the focal.

I put the sentiment on the inside of this card.

Inside Reads:
I think I'll hang onto you.
I was inspired by:
the shoes
the colors

And here is the sketch this week

I love everything about you card

On this card, I was inspired by:

night night

We are back with another challenge over @ Inspired By
card challenges this week. This awesome photo prompt
has a little bit of everything!  Amazing colors, patterns,
quilting, mirror, everything fun to get the creative mojo going.

This week, I was inspired by:

*the fun patterns

Hello Card

Since staying home, I have decided that I HAVE
to use more patterned papers in my cards again.
I have so many that I can 't bear to throw
out so I need to incorporate more onto my cards again.
This challenge has given me the perfect opportunity to do just that!  I have 4 different patterned papers on this card and I love the result.
It's soft, and feminine/girly, and will be perfect to
attach to a gift or some flowers soon!

I even used some buttons, tulle, and crepe paper to create my rosette,
bonus use of lots of goodies from my stash.  I love crepe rosettes, and
even though they can't be mailed, they are so fun on gifts or on a
card that you tie to a gift, flowers or hand-deliver.

My next card is inspired by the sketch this week.

Hello Kitty Card
I created my block from the sketch a little larger
because I wanted a square card to really accent
the big hello.  I used MORE patterned papers (winning),
 fussy cutting, distressing, die-cutting,
and machine stitching.

Spring Is Here

We are back with another challenge over @ Inspired By card challenges this week.  This awesome photo prompt could be interpreted so many ways and there are so many things to be inspired by!

This week, I was inspired by:

*the colors
*the theme
*the basket
*the stripes

I decided I was going to create a spring birthday card since we have several birthdays in April.
I decided to use this cute digital stamp from LotvDigiShop

Have a Sweet Birthday card
The sentiment is from the It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments from Ink to Paper company.  I use this set all the time and love it!  I colored the sweet image with my colored pencils and then die-cut the focal image and raised it up.

To incorporate the fun stripes, I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and some patterned paper to create the envelope.  The card looks really cute coming out of the patterned envelope and I hope my recipient enjoys it.

Also, here is the wonderful sketch this week if you like sketch challenges or want to use it as a starting point for your card this week!

And here is the card that I created inspired by this fun sketch!

I used this cute digital stamp from LOTVDigiShop and created a coffee card because coffee always makes everything better :)

Good morning!  We are back with another week of challenges over at Inspired By card challenges.
This week's challenge is a fun one because it could be interpreted in so many ways!
I was inspired by:
The colors (predominately blue, white and grey with pops of other colors)
the clustering of the items in the pic

Celebrate 18 card

I decided to create a birthday card for my daughter because blue is her favorite color, she's turning 18 and she's a BIG deal!♥

(lots of layering of clusters that would make her very happy)

And here''s the amazing pic that inspired her card this year

Spring Mini Album 2019

Good morning!
We are back with another fun challenge over @ Inspired By card challenges.  This week, I was so inspired by the the picture that I decided to literally interpret the set of drawers and "organize" challenge title.  I decided to create a mini album to organize and "hold" some of my recent spring break pics.

Spring 2019 Mini Album

I was inspired by:
the drawers (to hold things)
the numbers
the colors (especially the pops of brown)
the "sepia" feel to the pic

(I also printed the pics in sepia)

And here is the inspiration pic this week

Hello Money Bunny

Good morning!  We are back with another challenge today over at Inspired By card challenges.  This week is a challenge that I wish I would've had more time to really play with, I could've created so many things from this one challenge picture.  However, I am in the middle of creating for Easter and decided to create neighbor (kids) treat boxes filled with some Hershey's Hippity Hoppity kisses and a dollar origami-folded into a bunny.
I was inspired by:
the globe with green and white
the plants coming out of the pitcher and glass
the circles (bunny nose and eyes)

Hello Money Bunny Easter treat (for neighbor's kids)

And HERE is a link to the tutorial I used to create the
bunnies.

For my bunnies, I chose to use pop dots so the recipient could easily remove the bunny and all the parts when they are ready to "save" the dollar :)

Happy Creating and a very Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate Easter!

celebrate your day card

Hello.  Back again with another week of inspiration over on the Inspired By card challenge blog.
This week we have an incredibly fun patchwork photo and I decided to use this cute digital image HERE and it's FREE to download, happy day right?

Celebrate Your Day card

For my card, I printed the digital stamp onto white card stock, used my pencils and colored the hippo and balloon.  Next, I printed the image one more time onto printer paper (so I could see the placement for the post it note), then I placed a post it note over the image and ran it back through the printer.  I cut out the image to create a mask and used Distress Inks, to distress the background, always fun.

And here's the cuuuute inspiration photo this week

I was inspired by:

*the colors,
*the patchwork
*and the flooring.

Make sure to pop on over to the blog to see what the team created, so inspiring!
