hello autumn♥

Welcome back!  I hope you are having a beautiful autumn!  When I saw the challenge this week at Inspired By card challenge blog, I was really drawn to a lot of elements.

I was inspired by:

the beautiful colors
the thermoses with the white lids
the shelves
and
the patterns

So much to love and be inspired by, but those were a few of my faves.  And here is the card I created to hopefully share some of the many things that inspired me.

Merry card

Good afternoon.  I wanted to pop in to share a card I created, inspired by the CASE this sketch #294 and helping stock my stash for Christmas greetings.

merry card

To create the sentiment, I ran the "merry" papertrey ink die through my cuttlebug (not cutting through the entire way)  I decided that I would like more dimension to the card since I was going to layer onto a card instead of leaving the merry to "run off the edge" of the card, so I die cut it again and layered it onto the first sentiment.

And some glittered snowballs for the little snowbirds.

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments!

pumpkin spice boo

Good afternoon!  My goodness it is such a beautiful fall afternoon and I am loving the colors and all the feels....favorite time of year!  I am popping in to share some cards I created, inspired by sketch 293 over at  CASE this sketch challenge.

Boo card

I love this sketch, it's perfect for clean cards and I had a couple I needed to write this weekend.

details
Embossing:I used my "I love you" Cuttlebug embossing folder...haven't used this in forever, and boy I remembered right away why I love it so much, the embossing is beautiful)

You are pumpkin spice...card

I used the sketch on this card too and loved using this cute stamp from Hello Bluebird Autumn Gatherings set.

Pumpkin Spice cappuccinos are my favorite fall drink and it doesn't officially feel like fall until I have had one.  I love everything about this season and this set captures so much of it all!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Enjoy the day!

fall beauty♥

Good morning.  We are back with another challenge over at Inspired By card challenge blog this week.

Autumn Greetings card

I was really excited to see the prompt this week because I had just received my stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird.  I love the Autumn Gatherings stamp set, it is so so cute!  I created a couple of cards using Laurel's photo as inspiration.

Isn't this photo so beautiful? swoon.

This week, I was inspired by:
the acorns
the leaves
the theme

I decided I wanted to create a shaped card for this one, my recipients love to receive the shaped cards, and it had been awhile.
I cut this acorn template from the Silhouette Design Store.

On my first card, I used the cut to template my acorn ink blending.  Once I had blended the top portion I decided to go over it with my gel pen to make it stand out more...it was fun and I love little acorns.

I couldn't bring myself to throw out the negative pieces of the cut, so I adhered them to paper and started the process of blending for my card below.  After I blended the distress inks, I decided to spritz with water to distress the top (loved the look).

Check out what the team created this week too, amazing!
Happy creating

eat, drink and be scary♥

Good afternoon.
I am popping in to share a card I created inspired by the recent sketch over at CAS/E/ this Sketch.
I have been playing with my new AutumnGatherings stamp set from Hello Bluebird.  I have loved using this set on fall cards but wanted to also play with an idea I had for a Halloween card.

I found this sketch and it inspired my card today.

I used the fox and bow tie die, the "bow tie", "eat, drink and be cozy", and the  "latte steam" stamp from the Autumn Gatherings set to create my card.  I started by die cutting the fox using black card stock and then used a white gel pen to draw in the skeleton.  I then stamped, colored and cut the bow tie and adhered it to the fox skeleton along with a Honey Bee stamps candy heart embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a beautiful afternoon!

But first, coffee.

Good morning.  I am back with my cards for this week’s challenge at Inspired By challenge blog.  This week we are sponsored by Stamplorations and they are offering up a $20 gift certificate.  Make sure to check the blog to see the amazing designs from the team using their stamps and add your card to be eligible to win the prize.

When I received my stamps, I was really excited to make a 4 x 4 note card set inspired by the colors, the sign in the challenge photo and a fun poster on Pinterest about various types of coffees.  I have even more ideas of various coffees using these wonderful stamps but ran out of time, soon, I love coffee note cards.
