Spring Is Here

We are back with another challenge over @ Inspired By card challenges this week.  This awesome photo prompt could be interpreted so many ways and there are so many things to be inspired by!

This week, I was inspired by:

*the colors
*the theme
*the basket
*the stripes

I decided I was going to create a spring birthday card since we have several birthdays in April.
I decided to use this cute digital stamp from LotvDigiShop

Have a Sweet Birthday card
The sentiment is from the It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments from Ink to Paper company.  I use this set all the time and love it!  I colored the sweet image with my colored pencils and then die-cut the focal image and raised it up.

To incorporate the fun stripes, I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and some patterned paper to create the envelope.  The card looks really cute coming out of the patterned envelope and I hope my recipient enjoys it.

Also, here is the wonderful sketch this week if you like sketch challenges or want to use it as a starting point for your card this week!

And here is the card that I created inspired by this fun sketch!

I used this cute digital stamp from LOTVDigiShop and created a coffee card because coffee always makes everything better :)

celebrate your day card

Hello.  Back again with another week of inspiration over on the Inspired By card challenge blog.
This week we have an incredibly fun patchwork photo and I decided to use this cute digital image HERE and it's FREE to download, happy day right?

Celebrate Your Day card

For my card, I printed the digital stamp onto white card stock, used my pencils and colored the hippo and balloon.  Next, I printed the image one more time onto printer paper (so I could see the placement for the post it note), then I placed a post it note over the image and ran it back through the printer.  I cut out the image to create a mask and used Distress Inks, to distress the background, always fun.

And here's the cuuuute inspiration photo this week

I was inspired by:

*the colors,
*the patchwork
*and the flooring.

Make sure to pop on over to the blog to see what the team created, so inspiring!
We can't wait to see your creations!

I'm Stuck on You

Happy Valentine's Day! Hopefully your day is one filled with love or thoughts of all your loved ones.  Thank you for sharing a bit of your week with me!
We are back with another challenge this week at Inspired By card challenges.

This week we are focus on all things CACTI and it's super fun.  I took this challenge to create a fun Valentine for a friend of mine, someone I adore, someone I wanted to have a Valentine but not with hearts all over it.

Hello Friend Card

And here is the cute inspiration pic this week

I was inspired by:

*the cactus (succulents)
*the soft colors
*the word love (made me think of Valentine for a friend)

I die cut two cacti using MME Bliss.  I love this line so much and was so happy creating with it.  I will definitely be making many more cards using it!

I wanted to make an envelope to match her card, so I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board.  I love it and use it all the time.

We are back with another challenge over at Inspired by card challenge.  This week is all about Valentine's day, hearts, love, everything fun!

How cuuuute is this inspiration, love it!

And I created a second card this week because I bought these cute pom poms from JoAnn's and couldn't wait to use them on a Valentine's card.  This inspiration was perfect and I couldn't wait to incorporate them.

XOXO card

We are back with another challenge this week at Inspired by card challenges.  It is such a fun one with endless possibilities.  I decided to create a Valentine's card since it's just around the corner.

XOXO card

Here is the inspiration this week and I could've created so many cards with this one picture.  At first glance it's definitely football and football colors, but I was inspired by:

the brown football (monkey) in front of the white flag (white background)
the angled banners and flags
the bold text
the xs and os

Silhouette Digital cuts:  Monkey Love by Miss Kate Cuttables, Hugs and Kisses Silhouette, Cloud Raining Hearts Lisa Norris

2019 JOY

Happy New Year!  I am very excited to be returning to the Inspired By card challenges, thank you Laurel.

Laurel has a prize pack to start the new year too, so make sure to play along.

I created this JOY card inspired by the cute snowman photo.  I was really inspired by the theme this week and incorporated it into the sentiment.
The snowman is on a wobbler and moves when flicked or moving the card back and forth.

JOY card

I decided on the glittered paper for this snowman's scarf because it's the start of the year and hoping it's full of sparkly snowflakes and fun.

Check out the prompt, so cute!

And make sure to check out what the team created, always amazing inspiration!

Inspired By

Hello!  I am posting quickly today as we have a lot of appointments, so please excuse my brevity.
This is my card this week for the challenge over at Inspired By.  I know at first glance, it doesn't show how I was inspired, but there is a really good reason.  I didn't have blue patterned papers that I could use for the color of the inspiration photo, I had used a lot of blue pp on an order of cards recently and need to shop some blue patterns :)

hello card

Instead of focusing on the color in the inspiration, I chose to focus on the design elements and layout.  I was really inspired by the three decorative patterned pillows in the front, with the bed being multi-layered with sheets and comforters and the circles from the circular tray with the tea/coffee.

I decided to sketch it out to make it a little easier to disregard the blue (a trick for me personally when I am not using color to inspire me) and have added my sketch below if it inspires you please feel free to use it.

Make sure to hop over to the Blog and check out all the amazing creations by the team and the prize!

For my project, I created a Coffee Gift Set using Teri Anderson's Sassy Coffee set.....love!

May The Coffee Be With You
Gift Card Holder and Coffee House (chocolates box)

And, here's the inspiration this week.  Isn't it springy and beautiful?  I was inspired by the colors and pop of white.

I wanted to use the Coffee and Then the World as the sign logo for the coffee shop.

coffee gift card holder

the drawer opens up for a little gift of chocolates or other small trinkets.

My son's 18th birthday was this week so I didn't get pics of the other two cards I created so far with this stamp set, using the inspiration, but hope to have those posted in a day or so also.  (I could create endless cards with this set, love coffee and this set has so many fun sentiments.)

Inspired By...YOU!

We are back with our 200th challenge over @    Inspired By    card challenges!  We are all so excited and thought it deserved a celebration....
