night night

We are back with another challenge over @ Inspired By
card challenges this week. This awesome photo prompt
has a little bit of everything!  Amazing colors, patterns,
quilting, mirror, everything fun to get the creative mojo going.

This week, I was inspired by:

*the quilt
*the fun patterns

Hello Card

Since staying home, I have decided that I HAVE
to use more patterned papers in my cards again.
I have so many that I can 't bear to throw
out so I need to incorporate more onto my cards again.
This challenge has given me the perfect opportunity to do just that!  I have 4 different patterned papers on this card and I love the result.
It's soft, and feminine/girly, and will be perfect to
attach to a gift or some flowers soon!

I even used some buttons, tulle, and crepe paper to create my rosette,
bonus use of lots of goodies from my stash.  I love crepe rosettes, and
even though they can't be mailed, they are so fun on gifts or on a
card that you tie to a gift, flowers or hand-deliver.

My next card is inspired by the sketch this week.

Hello Kitty Card
I created my block from the sketch a little larger
because I wanted a square card to really accent
the big hello.  I used MORE patterned papers (winning),
 fussy cutting, distressing, die-cutting,
and machine stitching.

rainbow of color

We are back with another challenge over @ Inspired By card challenges this week.  This awesome photo prompt is filled with color, rainbows of color and is sure to make a recipient smile!

This week, I was inspired by:

*the colors
*the sketch

Hello Card
On my first card,  I was inspired by the sketch to begin with strips of colored cardstock.  I decided to play with all the wonderful rainbow of colors on the arches.  I really loved the contrast between the white and bold colors.  To begin my card, I cut strips of the papers I wanted to use and glued them to a piece of white card stock.  I cut the heart background using my Silhouette Cameo.  I layered the heart background over the strips of color and stitched around the frame.  The "hello" sentiment was also cut with my Cameo and I offset the sentiment two times to layer it.

On my second card, I created a thank you card for a healthcare worker, so grateful for all these heroes every single day.  To begin my card, I printed this free image from Waffle Flower Stamps!!  You have to check out what this amazing company created for all of us to use to thank heroes.  They used their talents to spread love, thank you so much!  I have used the printable, as is, to write cards.  However, on this card, I wanted to create a handmade one using the black and white image included and it was so easy and fun, thank you again Waffle Flower.

Thank You Card
And here's the Inspired By sketch that inspired my card this week.

I created the sentiment using the Big Scripty Words stamp set and dies

And the sketch this week is such a fun one with clustered elements or images!

And here is the card inspired by the sketch.  I chose to use scalloped rectangles and clustered the rainbow and sun and cloud.

Spring Is Here

We are back with another challenge over @ Inspired By card challenges this week.  This awesome photo prompt could be interpreted so many ways and there are so many things to be inspired by!

This week, I was inspired by:

*the colors
*the theme
*the basket
*the stripes

I decided I was going to create a spring birthday card since we have several birthdays in April.
I decided to use this cute digital stamp from LotvDigiShop

Have a Sweet Birthday card
The sentiment is from the It's A Sign: Birthday Sentiments from Ink to Paper company.  I use this set all the time and love it!  I colored the sweet image with my colored pencils and then die-cut the focal image and raised it up.

To incorporate the fun stripes, I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and some patterned paper to create the envelope.  The card looks really cute coming out of the patterned envelope and I hope my recipient enjoys it.

Also, here is the wonderful sketch this week if you like sketch challenges or want to use it as a starting point for your card this week!

And here is the card that I created inspired by this fun sketch!

I used this cute digital stamp from LOTVDigiShop and created a coffee card because coffee always makes everything better :)

Easter is Coming

Good morning!  Easter is coming and in the world that we live in right now with uncertainty, fear, and worry, we can set our eyes on the Hope of a dawning of a new day for sure.  I love this week's prompt @ Inspired By.  The cute little bunnies climbing up the sides of their cups reminds me of my kids when they were little.

Easter Is Coming
So cute right?

I was inspired by the bunny theme, the treat cups and the colors.

Some bunny loves you card
I created my card using this cute digital stamp Two Little Bunnies from LotvDigiShop.  I love her playful images as you might have guessed.  I actually used both images but on two separate cards.
