punny sentiments

 Good morning.  This week's IB challenge is inspired by PUNS!  I love using puns on my cards and with all that we have going on in the world, who couldn't use a cute card with a giggle?

I ordered this cute set from CZ designs Let's Connect and it is so much fun to create cards and tags.  I have used several of the sentiments already, however this card had a very specific recipient in-mind and so I printed the pun on the inside with my printer.

fruity sentiments

Good morning.  

The challenge this week at 

made me think of "when life gives you lemons...", lemon cards, lemonade cards, citrus fruit cards, apple cards (using the sketch for teachers etc.)

Isn't it fresh?

And here are my cards inspired by the inspiration and sketch this week.

Just For You card

I was inspired by the circle, the lemons, the font, everything!

And my card inspired by the sketch

Every Day is a Fresh Start

I created the pattern paper using a wreath stamp and "sweet life" sentiment, inspired by the font on one of the pillows, and some yellow paint.

To create the dots around the oval, I used a small circular stamp and stamped repeatedly around the oval to create the border similar to the pillow.  To create the lemon, I distressed my paper using Jenni Bowlin ink and then stamped the lemon onto the dried, distressed paper and cut it out.

really hope the days to embrace a summer freely and beautifully is on the horizon.

Good morning.  

The challenge this week @ Inspired By is an awesome party inspiration photo!  I was inspired by so many things this week but could easily have created a 4th of July card with 

pinwheels, circles, and fireworks, truly so many ideas!
