We are back with another week of challenges over at Inspired By card challenges.

I did not take a literal approach this week, much more interpretive but I am really happy with the birthday card I was able to create for an October birthday using this inspiration.

I was inspired by:

the awesome colors

the emphasis on strips (frames)

the ghosts (I decided to go with a fun skeleton)

and the funny part?  (the bats made me think of bows)

Hello!

We are back with another challenge over at IB card challenges.  This one is perfect for your fall and pumpkin-themed cards, FUN!

Here's my card inspired by the photo this week.

I was inspired by:

the pumpkins

 the different patterns on the pumpkins

how the patterns "pop" against the white pumpkins

I went with a pumpkin spice theme because to know me is to know that I love coffee, especially any coffee with pumpkin spice in it. :)

Celebrate 18

Good morning!  We are back with another week of challenges over at Inspired By card challenges.

This week's challenge is a fun one because it could be interpreted in so many ways!

I was inspired by:

The colors (predominately blue, white and grey with pops of other colors)

the clustering of the items in the pic

I decided to create a birthday card for my daughter because blue is her favorite color, she's turning 18 and she's a BIG deal!♥

(lots of layering of clusters that would make her very happy)

Good morning!  I'm back in full swing now that we are through graduations, a surgery, moving help and the beginning to summer work.  

The challenge over at Inspired By card challenges is so much fun!  This week's challenge has these amazing strawberries and I love it so much.  I went with a punny card this week because I need a thank you and so the strawberry inspiration was fun for me.

I used pop dots to 3D this fun card and typed the sentiment on the mat inside.
